GENERAL INFORMATION

Acme Keylocking Threaded Inserts are used to quickly repair stripped, damaged or worn out threads with new stronger threads or for use in original equipment. Acme Inserts are easy to install and easy to remove. No special tools are required. The Keys are driven down into the threads of the surrounding base material, locking the insert in place.

Carbon Steel Inserts _ C1215 or equivalent
Stainless Steel Inserts - 303 or equivalent
Keys - 302 or equivalent

Finish:
Carbon Steel Inserts - Parkerized
Stainless Steel Inserts - Passivated

Tolerances:
±.010 inch or ±.25 mm unless specified otherwise.

Dimensions:
Inch Inserts are specified in inches and Metric Inserts are in millimeters. Metric/Inch Inserts have a metric internal diameter while all other dimensions are in inches.

Keys:
Inserts with an internal thread size of 5/16 or M7 and larger are furnished with 4 locking keys. Smaller sizes have 2 locking keys.

Specials:
We have the capabilities of producing special Keylocking Inserts to your specific requirements.
